Breakfast: A typical Honduran breakfast usually consists of scrambled eggs, beans and tortillas.

Meals: A meal in Honduras includes rice, beans, tortillas, some kind of grilled meat (chicken or beef) and sometimes a salad. On the coast they have seafood. In large cities they have big American restaurants like KFC and Pizza Hut. Burritos are another popular meal, along with tamales and Pastelitos de Carne: deep-fried flour pastries filled with meat, rice and/or potatoes.

Snacks: One of the most common and popular snack is Anafres: which is a appetizer with hot black beans and cheese, served with chips.

Desserts: Tres Leches Cake: It is a cake soaked in three kinds of milk, evaporated milk, sweetened condensed milk and cream. & Arroz con Leche: Rice soaked in warm milk with sugar, cinnamon and other spices, it can also be called Honduran Rice Pudding.

Beverages: Horchata which is a sweet, spiced drink made with milky rice. Soda and licuados which is a fresh fruit drink blended with milk water and/or yogurt.

What you will pay: In mainland Honduras food is cheaper than other nations in Central America. In the bay area of Honduras food is more expensive because it is mainly seafood and it has to be shipped in.

Clothing:

Business Clothes: Business suits, blazers and dresses, a lot of clothes are imported from other counties.
Shoes: men wear boots normally, and women just wear beach sandals. Dress shoes are worn when going out somewhere nice.

Traditional Clothing: Women usually wear homemade dresses, normally white with colored seems. These aren't worn around town but they are worn at festivals.

Secondhand Clothing: They usually just wear clothes that are passed down and put into stores and they wear basically the same thing we do here.
